Samba Gringa
So I have recently joined the group Samba Gringa, as in 3 months ago. It is a fun group that I joined because of Hannah, my super awesomely sexy girlfriend. According to Samba Gringas’ website, they are:
Samba Gringa Brazilian Rhythm and Dance is a non-profit, community-oriented drum line, performing high-energy Brazilian music and dance in the spirit of the Escolas de Samba (Samba Schools) and Blocos of Brazil. Members of Samba Gringa perform, teach, and study Brazilian music and dance in large numbers all over Utah. Samba Gringa often features costumed dancers, bringing the excitement and energy of carnaval to the stage. Samba Gringa promotes cultural diversity in Utah by offering our community - band members and audiences alike - unique, high quality, and culturally rich experiences in Brazilian drumming and dance.
Since I have taken pictures and videos of it, I decided to finally put them up. Be warned, all of the pictures and videos are taken from my iPhone. Which means the pictures are 2 MP in quality, and the videos. Well, the videos are as good as I canĀ make them. Since, according to Apple, I am not supposed to be able to take videos with it. Although, i would have to say that the videos are much better if you listen to them without sound. It turns out that the iPhone doesn’t record sound, that is that loud, very well
Oh well, here they are. Oh, and here are the videos for 25 October 2008 and 31 December 2008 (First Night).
I would have taken more pictures from first night. I was fire safety though. So instead of taking pictures, I was making sure they didn’t set themselves on fire. I thought it was more important
